21 investment cooperation projects were signed on the site, with a total investment of 7.33 billion yuan, including the comprehensive development and construction project of Xizhou New City in Yongshun County, the comprehensive cultural and tourism study project of Aizhai Scenic Area in Jishou City, the digital transportation service project in Huayuan County, and the tourism infrastructure upgrading and renovation project (Phase I) in Morong Town of Guzhang County.
On the site, renowned domestic scholars and cultural and tourism experts gave speeches on topics such as “Development of the Entry and Exit Tourism Market”, “Current Situation and High-quality Development of Cultural and Tourism Investment”, and “Construction of World-class Tourism Destination”, providing suggestions on building Xiangxi into a renowned tourist destination domestically and internationally. Several entrepreneurs said that Xiangxi Prefecture is rich in natural resources and ethnic customs, and has a foundation, advantages, and potential for tourism development. They are willing to start businesses in Xiangxi.
The comprehensive cultural and tourism study project of Aizhai Scenic Area in Jishou City was signed by Chengdu Pulefang Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. and Jishou Tianxingjian Cultural Tourism Investment and Development Co., Ltd. They plan to create a study tour brand based on the unique natural scenery and rich cultural resources of the Aizhai Scenic Area, in a bid to attract more tourists and increase related income from scenic areas’ tickets, catering, and accommodation.
